100,000 California homes to soon get solar-powered

NRG Solar and SunPower are of foreign extraction, juice or a fireball, that in heaven, you just have to build the world's largest solar photovoltaic. Duo in San Luis Obispo County that will begin construction next year, creating about 350 jobs in the process and will help California inch ever close to achieving its 33 percent renewable portfolio standard.

250 - megawatt plant is still nothing compared to the other (ie, that people in Arizona), but it overshadows the vast majority of plants in operation today. The project will stretch over three or four years, but when everything is said, about 100,000 households (yes, even the house of Vincent Chase) will be given by the installation of energy from the sun in spring, but the energy bills for Californians probably will not all sink - Hey , but at least throw you a bone Ma's worth, right?
